Zortal, the Family Portal, is comprised of this Portal and other Member Portals (the "Zortal Portals") operated by Zortal Enterprises, Inc. ("Zortal").  The Zortal Portals may contain bulletin board services, chat areas, news groups, forums, communities, personal Portal Pages, calendars, and/or other message or communication facilities designed to enable you to communicate with the public at large or with a group (collectively, "Zortal Communication Services").  Zortal prohibits the use of the the Zortal Communication Services or any other Zortal service (collectively, "Zortal Services") in any manner associated with the transmission, distribution or delivery of any unsolicited bulk or unsolicited commercial e-mail ("Spam").  You may not use any Zortal Services to send Spam.  You also may not deliver Spam or cause Spam to be delivered to any of Zortal Member Portals, Zortal customers, or Zortal Members. In addition, email sent, or caused to be sent, to or through the Zortal Services may not: use or contain invalid or forged headers; use or contain invalid or non-existent domain names; employ any technique to otherwise misrepresent, hide or obscure any information in identifying the point of origin or the transmission path; use other means of deceptive addressing; use a third party's internet domain name, or be relayed from or through a third party's equipment, without permission of the third party; contain false or misleading information in the subject line or otherwise contain false or misleading content; fail to comply with additional technical standards described below; otherwise violate this Portals Conditions of Use. Zortal does not authorize the harvesting, mining or collection of email addresses or other information from or through the Zortal Services and from or through any Zortal Member Portal.  Zortal does not permit or authorize others to use the Zortal Services to collect, compile or obtain any information about its Member Portals, customers, or Zortal Members, including but not limited to Zortal Member email addresses, which are Zortal's confidential and proprietary information.  Use of the Zortal Services is also subject to this Portal's Privacy Policy and Conditions of Use. Zortal does not permit or authorize any attempt to use the Zortal Member Portals or any Zortal Services in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden or impair any aspect of any of any Zortal Member Portal or the Zortal Services, or that could interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of any Zortal Member Portal or Zortal Service. If Zortal believes that unauthorized or improper use is being made of any Zortal Service, it may, without notice, take such action as it, in its sole discretion, deems appropriate, including blocking messages from a particular internet domain, mail server or IP address.  Zortal may immediately terminate any Zortal Member account on any Zortal Service which it determines, in its sole discretion, is transmitting or is otherwise connected with any email that violates this Spam Policy, the Privacy Policy or the Conditions of Use. Nothing in this Spam Policy is intended to grant any right to transmit or send email to, or through, the Zortal Services.  Failure to enforce this Spam Policy in every instance does not amount to a waiver of any of Zortal's rights. Unauthorized use of any Zortal Member Portal or the Zortal Services in connection with the transmission of unsolicited email, including the transmission of email in violation of this Spam Policy, may result in civil, criminal, or administrative penalties against the sender and those assisting the sender.
